  1. I placed my order November 11th and was given a delivery estimate of Nov 17th to the 20th, thought at the time that was a long time to wait for runners but not a big deal as i was leaving NY on the eve of Fri the 20th for a marathon in Philadelphia on the 22nd and to my huge disappointment my new Asics still hadnt arrived, they came the eve of the 21st. Had to buy a new pair of Nikes in Philly and as it turns out i prefer them to the Asics. I will be returning the Asics and i bet it wont take 10 days for them to get back, disgracefull.

  2. I was a little confused with all the hype over the different styles and brands of running shoes but after a visit to my ortho and physical therapist and technical running store I settled on Asics. I tend to run on the outside of my foot so the ortho recommended a cushion shoe without too much arch support and the Cumulus 11 was the answer. Being a soccer player I was not used to the room in a running shoe but it makes a big diffence in comfort especially after the fist mile or so. I ran my first 5k today at age 48 and although my body was in pain it had nothing to do with my feet because these shoes are soooooo comfortable.

  3. the heel is much more stable now. and overall fit is better, with the straps on the sides for more stability. i had the cumulus 9, this is much better.

  4. I am a 5’9″ 175 lb. male who runs 40-50 miles a week with a long run that’s up to 18 miles. I’m a neutral runner with slight supination. I have a fairly narrow heal, which can sometimes be a problem when looking for that perfect fit. I initially bought the Cumulus 11s when training for my first half marathon. I am on my second pair of Cumulus 11 shoes and very happy with them.

Being fairly stout and not having been blessed with a runner’s body, I need training shoes with some cushion to save my knees on those long runs. The Asics Cumulus 11 provides that cushion, without too much shoe. They feel light and I run faster in these shoes than my Brooks Launch light weight trainers (which I also like very much). The mesh toe box is comfortable, without any constricting shoe material. These shoes fit true to size and are good to go, right out of the box. I didn’t keep the best mileage log on the first pair, but I figure I got about 450-500 miles out of them, running primarily on roads. I’m sure I’ll end up buying a third pair before too long.

  5. I have had 3 pairs of Gel Cumulus 10′s and loved them. I couldn’t find them anymore, so I moved up to the 11. The 11 has the same feel on the heel, good support and comfort, but the changes that appear to have been made to the fore-foot of the shoe are my complaint. The front of the shoe feels thicker, less flexible, and I have noticed a bit more pressure on the ball of my foot. I didn’t experience this with any of my 10′s. Overall, still comfortable, but some negatives.
