I had several pairs of Merrells that I wore till they fell apart. But the last 2 pairs have all been tight, one was so tight I couldn’t even get my foot in em, they were 9.5 M also (sent back).
This pair was a smig tight so I figuired they were just stiff bein new and all. After wearing em for several days they aren’t gettin any better. Either my feet are gettin bigger or Merrell is makin shoes smaller.

I ordered online to get some boots for an upcoming trip. Finding a ‘wide’ style was difficult in the boot that I had wanted and so I ordered online. The boots came just a couple of days before the trip but were the medium width (a size that I could find easily at retailers in my area) and it was too late to return them as I would have no boots at all otherwise.
Disappointed in the order/quality control of this company.

I bought this shoe and received it within 3 days. Unfortunately, the shoe was narrow and didn’t fit my wide feet so I returned it. I received the refund in a short time. The product was brand new as described.

I like this product and have been a loyal Merrell user for about a decade now. As I get older and counterintuitively, more active, I’ve noticed a need for more arch support in my footwear. When I buy Merrell’s, I immediately throw out the factory insole and buy an after-market product. The people who sold me that insole mentioned that major shoe manufacturers have given up on high quality insoles because the after-market ones are of high quality and can be customized for individual fit.
Im my experience, high quality insoles help provide a proper arch and heel support and complement the otherwise high quality of the shoe to make for prolonged used of the product. With proper insoles, I also don’t get the tired beaten-up feet at the end of the day.
Having said all that, I think high quality shoes should stand on their own merit. After having paid $125, I should not have to pay another $50 to use it.

The ONLY good things about these boots are: they look good and they are comfortable and lightweight. Construction, however, leaves a lot to be desired. I had been wearing these boots for 1-2 months when I noticed that the soles of both boots had begun separating from the uppers. I’ve read reviews on other websites that indicate this is not an isolated incident. My boots saw nothing wilder than a sidewalk or two. I wore them only to work, and since most of the time I’m in the office, use or abuse is NOT the problem. I wrote to Merrell regarding this problem and did receive a reply. From the tone of the reply it was immediately obvious that nobody had actually read my e-mail because their reply was nothing more than a form letter stating that they are not responsible for damage due to abuse, blah blah blah ad nauseum. So, I again e-mailed Merrell and told them what I thought of their boots and their previous reply. NOW they want to make it right and so forth and so on! I informed Merrell that I would rather spend $5 on ShoeGoo than to have to pay at least twice that amount to ship these boots back to them. So, save up your money and buy a REAL pair of boots, NOT some CRAP made in China! These are about as tough as a pair of little pink bunny house slippers. Seriously, they would be overpriced at $29.95! Zero stars is what they truly deserve. Sidebar..I purchased my boots from a retailer other than Amazon. Same doodoo, different dealer.
