I’m a long-time Brook Adrenaline user and thought I would switch to the Wave Rider for its cushioning. But the Wide Rider is not for someone with narrow feet like myself. Also be forewarded that the Wave Rider runs a 1/2 size long. In sum, I didn’t like the fit of the Wave Rider at all. I’m back in my Adrenalines and happy as a clam!

I normally have trouble running for any distance on pavement, but these
shoes really help my knees. They are very comfortable and help reduce
the shock. The price was *very* reasonable in my opinion.

Great ride, if a bit too comfy and cushy (lack of road feel). Suitable for a wider than average foot and has a pretty roomy toebox. Flexible and light for a shoe in this category. Very, very comfy, but not a speedster, as you sink in with each step.

I’ve been running in these for about 2 weeks, and they feel GREAT. The arch support is much better than I’ve had in other shoes, and for a well-cushioned shoe, they are not too heavy. The solid midsole support has also helped me get past my Medial Shin Splints.
I will say, however, that because of the unique way that Mizuno does their cushioning, they are not for all runners: Anyone who is serious about running should make sure they get a proper fitting at a running shoe store like Fleet Feet.
