overall shoe feels very good. good support and fit. only complaint is this shoe does not allow air to foot even though there is lots of mesh on the sides of the shoe. poor air circulation.

This shoe is a comfortable shoe. I suffer from Planters Fascitis(sp) and it has helped some but no shoe can fix this. Tech. in running is the only way along with varied movements. Try the “Pose” tech. of running and any shoe feels good. God made us barefoot, run as if you were…on the balls of your feet, not heals

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. This is actually his second pair of this shoe. They are very comfortable. He wears them to work out at the gym.

I am an avid runner and I am very particular with shoes I purchase. I have usually been very satisfied with NB shoes however the 1224 while comfortable, seems to make me run more on my toes than other shoes I have worn. This is causing some mild front knee pain.

I have historically bought New Balance shoes because of the quality of the product. Now I can’t say this anymore. After about 5 to 6 months of intermittent use, the top of the shoe is literally coming apart from the entire bottom / sole of the shoe. I went to the New Balance store and was greeted by some young girl who thought that this was funny. No manager was in the store and I was told that if I wanted to, I could call the corporate office and see if there was anything they could do.
Ha, with this sort of product and customer service, I will no longer be purchasing this garbage.
