I really liked the look of the boot and the price. I read a couple of the reviews where reviewers said the boot ran a full size small but Amazon stated “These shoes run True to Size.” I decided to order a 1/2 size larger than normal. Too small. In returning them, Amazon charged me for the shipping back to them because it was *my fault*. And they wouldn’t exchange for the next size up — refunds only. So I went to order the next size up, but it was no longer fulfilled by Amazon, so the promotional price was gone. I’ll shop for new boots locally. My 1 star review is not of the boot per se but of the experience buying them through Amazon. Good luck.

This is the 2nd pair of Vasque Breeze boots I have owned. I love these boots and they fit my feet well, my foot measures 12.5 D (U S) so I order a size 13(U S). It is hard for me to find boots that fit well. I just got back from a hike today wearing boots for the first time (breaking in). I hiked 11 miles with a 35LB. pack, no hot spots or blisters. These are good light-weight hikers that keep feet dry. The only thing I could see improving on these boots would be to have the black sole round up in the back heel area to protect the gray padding/heel sole.

I bought these for my husband who has trouble finding a fit for his wide feet. I also ordered a full size longer as suggested by previous reviewers. He is very satisfied with the fit. His feet stay dry as well and he works around water.

First of all they run true to size.I went to a local
outfitter and tried the exact same boot before ordering from Amazon
because of the controversy and I’m glad I did.Had I taken other reviewers advice
and ordered a size larger they would have been to big.
I do a lot of bushwack hiking in rugged desert terrain
and was very pleased with these boots until about two
months into them and the stitching,supporting the upper
lace hooks gave out on one of boots.
