The Haflinger Classic Slipper turned out to be the best gift I could have given to my daughter. They look great, are comfortable, a great price. The hard soles make it possible for her to dash in and out of her home without ruining them. She loved them!!!!

This is my second pair of Haflingers, I now can’t make it through the winter without them. The last ones lasted about 2 years with regular wearing. They are true to size and have a bit of arch support. Warm and cosy, and they come in so many colors. I wear a 9.5-10 shoe, and I can wear the size 41 slippers with or without socks, they fit wonderfully.

The seam down the middle makes the slippers less aethetically pleasing than they might otherwise be but, for me, does not rub or chafe (as I noted it did for other reviewers). I ordered the chocolate color and was a little disappointed with it–a bit more like dark toffee and less like dark chocolate, as the pic appeared. Again, an aesthetic issue. But very, very comfy. I wear them all of the time. I’ll just have to order a different color next time.

These shoes are exactly as I expected. Handmade in Germany, boiled wool, machine washable. They are very warm when I need and cool when I need. They also have great arch support. It’s firm but cushy.
