This is my third pair of Keen shoes and quite dissappointing.
The service from REI was great.
The fit is a bit large. My other Keens are size 9.5, but these 9.5 shoes are too loose unless I wear heavy socks.
The tab above the laces to pull the shoes on seperated from the left shoe the first time I pulled them on.
The laces do not stretch like the laces on my Keen sandals, further exacerbating the poor fit.
Definately not worth the $100 I paid for them.
I would try these on at a local store before ordering.

I’ve only had these for two weeks but I’m thoroughly impressed so far. Very comfortable – easy to slide on and off but the non-stretch laces allow you to tighten them up quickly and sturdily when you need more support.
The tread on these is fantastic – similar to what you seen on a day hiker. I’ve worn out the treads on my other Keen sandals in less than a year so I’m hoping these last longer – from the looks of them, I think they probably will. The tread on the Keen Newport was one of my biggest complaints – not enough grip, and they didn’t last long.
I highly recommend these.

These sandals are really great for what i use them for…I live in the midwest so its not often I get to hike but i do use them for mountain biking when i go north and great to just slip on and off when coming in and out of the house. They are a little warm my feet tend to sweat but you cant beat the durability, rugged as hell. When I do mountain bike and do things that are more active they tend to get loose on me. Wish they had tighter laces

They may call this a hiking shoe, but I call it an all purpose sandal, and it’s the most comfortable Keen sandal I have.
It is very light (made of all synthetic material), which is a very big plus and the footbed is really, really comfortable. It molds to your foot and gives you very good support, but because it’s very light, you feel like you are wearing nothing.
I wear this sandal when I’m walking, strolling and even some sports because the support is so good. The only problem I have with this sandal is that if my feet sweat in it, it really stinks! But I take care of that by taking the insole out and scrubbing it with an old toothbrush and soap. A nice side effect of this shoe is that the heel and bottom is very high and gives you about a 1.5 inch boost in height, and you can never be too young, rich or tall.
I love this sandal and I highly recommend it, super comfortable!
