Bought these as travel shoes. They are easy to get on & off (especially important in airports), lightweight and breathable. They have no break in period and are very stylish as far as athletic shoes go. A pair of these, a pair of simple dress shoes and flip-flops or slides should be all you’ll ever need for most travel situations. Be warned though, they have NO support (weren’t designed for that) so if you have orthopedic concerns… look elsewhere.

I bought in October 2008 to wear on a trip to Disney. I wore them for seven straight days of non-stop walking. They are very comfortable, but they lack any cushioning. My were so sore at the end of each day because of the lack of cushioning. They also take a long time to dry. I got them pretty wet several times and they were still damp the next morning. Overall, they are comfortable and good for the occassional romp in wet or hot weather, but don’t plan on wearing them for all day walking trips or your feet will feel the pain.

My original plan was to use this as water shoe but I like them so much that I’m using them as casual footwear and have been wearing them to work too. They are very comfortable with and without socks. As the weather is getting colder, they now replace my flip-flop for local runs to the stores, sockless. For this price, I plan to get another pair. Oh, I bought something else for the water because this is too good to NOT wear them everywhere!
