  1. I really want to love this shoe. I feel like I’m walking on a cloud. However, I have a slightly narrow heel and my heel slips in it. I tried to make this shoe fit… went down half a size and even used a runners loop. Ultimately, I will be returning them.

  2. I have been a huge Asics fan since my first pair of Asics Gel Nimbus VII’s-and because I loved these, I purchased more than one pair. I received the XI’s in December. I felt them to be different then my VII’s in the fact that they are of sturdier construction and not as cushioning, but taking into account that they are a brand new shoe it makes sense. Asics still has more cushioning than any other running shoe I’ve tried on. I love the pink color. Do purchase a half size up for more room while running-I normally wear 8.5 to 9′s and the 9′s are snug. Overall I still feel the Asics to be a higher quality shoe in comparison with other running shoes on the market. I would definitely choose Asics again.

  3. To me these are the best asics ever, the support and fit are wonderful. My knees don’t hurt when I walk alot anymore, and they are very light on your feet.

  4. I don’t know all the technical reasons why this shoe is great, but it provides all the flexibility, support and cushioning necessary for a 40 year old 25-45 mile/week runner who had to take a few months off after a major hospitalization and surgery. I recommend highly.

  5. Absolutely loved my multiple pairs of Nimbus 10′s. They were the most comfortable running shoe (actually any shoe!) that I had ever owned. The Nimbus 11 is just not in the same league. As a pronator with a bad knee, stability is of utmost importance. The Nimbus 10 provided that stability, the Nimbus 11 does not. My foot felt like it was constantly trying to slide to the inside of the shoe and my knee started aching immediately. There is also a decrease in cushioning that can be felt the moment you try on the shoe–my 6 month old Nimbus 10′s still provide more cushioning than these do brand new.

Anxiously awaiting the Nimbus 12 and hoping it’s an improvement.
