Maybe I am being harsh, but while this design does eliminate any sensitive between the toes issues, there is just too much shoe to make these function as well as the original ones do. I can imagine getting blisters from the extra material. Am planning on returning mine.

I started suffering from plantar fasciitis about 16 months ago. Walking became quite painful in regular shoes, forget flip flops or sandals of any kind. I mostly just suffered with it until I came across some reviews for Fit Flops and the Freeway Slide in particular. Other PF sufferers were full of praise for this sandal so I gave it a shot. Before this I wore a brace on my foot at night, heel supports, arch supports, all with really little or no result.
Now, I don’t know if this sandal “healed” my heel, but it sure as heck helped it and made it comfortable. I practically lived in them for about a month before my heel pain disappeared. Walking in them is just a pleasure.

Before you judge in this sandle try to use it for several times I am really happy with it.

I’m relatively happy with the product however they are not nearly as comfortable as the fit flop I first purchased, the thong type. Its a bit stiff. I would not purchase this again, I’ll stick with the the original thong, much more comfy.
