These are the best summer shoes to buy. They dry overnight and do not get a musty smell. The fit is great, my son’s feet are a bit wide and still fit well. He hates to wear shoes, but likes the Keens. They are easy for me to get on his foot with the velcro strap. I do not think the regular Keen Newports have the velcro strap, the H2′s are great for little kids (and big kids). A MUST BUY if you are looking for a shoe that can also get wet and have good support.

I ordered these shoes from Zappos, took them out of the box and tried them on my daughter. They were a full size smaller than marked and they had a tire-like smell, so I put them back in the box to return and put the box on her shelf. The next day, her whole room had this horrible smell, almost like tire/urine. It was in the rest of the house too, just not as strong. I picked up the shoe and smelled it and almost got sick. The shoes have a very strong rubber tire smell that literally made me nauseated and gave me a headache. I returned them and had another pair shipped – same problem. I was told maybe it was a bad batch, so I returned them and ordered some from Keen – same problem. Gross. I’ll never buy another pair of Keens again. They are made in China and we all know how reliable they are for good quality – not! I’m putting this review on Amazon because I did a one star review for Zappos and they won’t post it. I guess they only post the good ones. If you’re the kind of person who is sensitive to that smell (like I avoid the Sears tire center like the plague), don’t order these!

I will not buy another one, because I don’t want see my baby crying, because has fall. This shoes sole is not to all surface when wet, so why is H2 water shoes??? Be alert!!!

The whole family has Keens and we buy new ones as soon as the kids outgrow the last pair. They are the best Spring/Summer/Fall shoes around for running, hiking, water sports, and comfort.

I bought these for my 2 year old son. They look cool, and seemed pretty comfortable for him. They are a nice solid sandal. The only caveat I have is that I had hoped they would be both water & dry land shoes. I live in the city where kids play in sprinklers in the parks which still requires a shoe. I’m not a big fan of crocs and this seemed like a nice alternative And they did work this way, but the did not dry quickly by any means – in one case it took until the next day. Not what I had expected. Also, they are not always easy to put on – certainly my son could never have done it himself, and it was at times difficult for us adults. But once on, and when dry, it’s a solid shoe for the summer and worked with socks when necessary as well.
